Pastor Bill's Message Excerpts

Reference Luke, 1John 1:7, Psalm 103, Psalm 37, Ecclesiastes 7:10

Don't look back! Looking back can defeat you in the future. Don't look at sins forgiven. God puts our sin as far as East is from the West! Don't question your salvation! God has put away sin! Don't let failing make you feel like a failure! God will hold us in his hand when utterly cast down!  Learn from past sin but don't live there! Look forward! Look forward to tomorrow!

Sunday December 9, 2007

Pastor Bill's Message Excerpts

Reference 1John 9, Colossians 1:19, Hebrews 6, Galatians1:6

Don't change your foundation in Christ! Don't be removed from Him! Don't have an intimate relationship with those that don't have a doctrine of Christ! There is a perverted gospel being followed! What is stopping us from being a great Christian? Follow the doctrine of Christ! Live the doctrine of Christ! God in there! Deceivers confess not that Jesus came in the flesh. Christ experienced everything we experience. Live Holy!

Sunday December 2, 2007

Pastor Bill's Message Excerpts

What does the birth of of Jesus mean to you? Christmas helps us to focus on the birth of Jesus and we can and do lose our focus. The only reason for Christmas is Jesus! Don't lose the wonder of it all! Celebrate the greatest gift of all! Just another day in the life of a shepherds became quite a day! What do you expect in an ordinary Sunday or Monday or any day? What can happen today? Receive Jesus as Savior this ordinary day! Salvation day can be this day!

Sunday November 25, 2007

Pastor Bill's Message Excerpts

Reference 1Corinthians, Daniel 7:14, Matthew 28:18

Can you make a list of all God has given you? He has given you everything and all is entrusted to you to manage as steward.  We abuse gifts because we forget we are not the owners but stewards. Don't waste time mourning what you don't have grow and increase in what you do have. We are all accountable and are stewards whether we manage blessings well or poorly.

Sunday November 18, 2007

Pastor Bill's Message Excerpts

Reference Leviticus 7:12-14, Colossians, Ephesians 5:20, Romans 5:3, Hebrews 13

Ungrateful people are frustrated people. Thanksgiving is a key ingredient to having peace. It is important that God's people give thanks. Be thankful even in the bad times. Give thanks for all things. Gratitude should be very common in a Christian's life in the best and worst of times. Give thanks for struggles and blessings as thanksgiving is an offering unto God. The shed blood of Jesus is the foundation of thanksgiving in a Christian. Thanksgiving is the basis of Christian fellowship and thanksgiving is for each and every day.

Sunday November 11, 2007

Pastor Bill's Message Excerpts

Reference Psalm 64, Exodus 25:2, Deuteronomy 31:12, Matthew 22:37-39

When giving anything, time, possessions and money give it in gratitude not selfishness. God expects us to use our time and possessions. Have a tender heart and be grateful. Stewardship is an education and we need to use all of our resources for the glory of God.

Sunday November 4, 2007

Pastor Bill's Message Excerpts

Reference Malachi 3:6-10

This month of November will be Stewardship Month. Normally January is reserved as Stewardship Month but we will here preaching on this subject during these months of thankful holidays.

Money and possessions are talked about 2300 times in scripture. Prayer and it's importance is talked about 500 times. You will never purchase anything from God because everything is his anyway! He gives you 100% of what you have! He only requires obedience from you in returning 10% of what he gives you. We rob God when we don't obey! We also rob ourselves of the blessings he has for us.

Sunday October 28, 2007

Today's Service was our annual Harvest Festival Service. The choir sang several songs while the congregation joined in amid a festively decorated sanctuary.
You can hear most of the singing on our
Audio Sermon / All Audio page or click the player.

Sunday October 21, 2007

Pastor Bill's Message Excerpts

Reference Matthew 7, John 14:6, Acts 10:1-6, Hebrews 5:9, James 2:19

Don't doubt your salvation! Many will want to enter heaven and will not be able! Jesus said few will be saved! Just because we believe something doesn't make it true. Just because we don't believe something doesn't make it true. Truth is truth! You must believe and do the will of the Father to enter into heaven! You must be obedient to the will of God! Here are examples of "few." Eight souls were saved out of the flood. Three were saved out of Gomorrah and Sodom. Two out of 603,550 over the age of 20 entered into Canaan.

Sunday October 14, 2007

Pastor Bill's Message Excerpts

Reference Matthew 28:18-20, Matthew 22, 2Corinthians, Romans 12:2

If you have a church that follows Jesus you will have a Pastor that is following Jesus! We have difficulty following Jesus because we want o make ourselves first with concern for our happiness. Simply love God and love your neighbor as yourself.  Work begins today! Not tomorrow! Discipleship is mentoring and encouraging a younger Christian. Jesus reached out to sinners. Jesus is obedient to God the Father! We should reach out to sinners! We should be obedient to the Father! Jesus is our example! Be as Jesus!

Sunday October 7, 2007

Pastor Bill's Message Excerpts

Reference 1Corinthians 3, John 5, Hosea 4:9

Consume the milk of the word but desire the move ahead to the meat of the word. Do we behave like ordinary people? We are a peculiar people! Praise God! Jesus' vineyard is a picture of the church. A fig tree is a picture of leadership. If the leadership is unfruitful so are are the people. Like begets like and there shall be, like people, like priest. It takes time to develop a leader. God does seek fruit of the Spirit, Evangelism and Discipleship. In today's church the Great Commission has become the Great Omission! Parents and Grandparents must live a life's example for children! A Pastor which follows Jesus will have a Church that follows Jesus!

Sunday September 30, 2007 Morning and Evening Audio

Pastor Bill's Message Excerpts

Reference Colossians 1:14, 1John 1:8-10, John 14:27, Philippians 4:7 & 4:18, Acts 1:8

If you confess your sin he is faithful and just to forgive us our sin. Jesus will release you from any and all guilt! Repent! Turn to him! Trust Him! Nothing we do can remove our sin. We are saved by the grace of God only! There is no penitence for sin but the blood of Jesus! Today is a great day to receive Jesus as Saviour. "If" is a condition God sets for us to follow. If we confess our sins he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. We have freedom from sin through Jesus! Any sin is bondage for us. We can be free not to sin! Jesus  is freedom!

Sunday September 23, 2007

Pastor Bill's Message Excerpts

Reference Colossians 3, Galatians 1:20, James 5:17, Philippians 1:21

Mark Twain introduced us to Huck Finn and the widow Douglas adopted him and clothed him in good garments and he would return to his familiar ragged clothes. He looked back and wanted the rags of his past.  You have control over your life, Your decisions for Jesus or the things of the past. Get rid of malice! Your filthy tongue! Lies and deeds of your old self! Don't Go Back! We now live by faith! For me to live is Christ and to die to self is gain! We have a wonderful future in Christ! It is the duty of all Christians to live a Holy Life! Take time to be Holy! It is not up to a few Holy Looking People to show the goodness of God! It is up to each that call him Lord! Get rid of those old dirty clothes and put on the righteousness of Jesus!

Sunday September 16, 2007

Pastor Bill's Message Excerpts

Reference 1Peter 21-25, Psalm 105, Philippians 4:8

Why do we do things certain way? What's the reason? What would Jesus say? He spoke truthfully and what would Jesus think, hear, say do go to? He spoke truthfully and talks of life! When your words speak of evil you need to repent because what you say reflects your heart. We have to consider things of eternal choices. When we ask for help God will guide us in he way we should go. When you have the opportunity to make choices think what your father would do.

Sunday August 20, 2007

Pastor Bill's Message Excerpts

Reference Mark 8:22, 2Kings 5:,

Jesus' focus was his father's will. If we are confused with doing right check your focus. The blind man at Bethsaida is found only in the book of Mark and is another reason to read the whole Bible. Jesus demonstrated how he healed. People sought him, He touched the one in need as often as was needed. Naaman was very proud and was enraged because healing didn't happen as he envisioned. Do we still see men as trees  and Christian life without full vision? The blind man received his sight from Jesus. He was a believer! He had to come back to Jesus for full vision. This could be an example of Christian maturity to continue with Jesus always.

Sunday August 20, 2007

Pastor Bill's Message Excerpts

Reference Proverbs 6:6-10, Matthew 25, Genesis, Exodus 20:9, Proverbs 12:11, Proverbs 29:19, Ecclesiastes 9:10, 1Timtothy 5:8, Proverbs 23:11

Work is good. Laziness is not. Jesus had harsh words for the man tat wasted his talent. Even that which you have will be taken away if your talent is wasted. Common sense is an idea being lost today. We have to work for what is given. Even God is our example for work! Six days he worked then rest. That is what he did that is what we should follow. Reasons to work are to eat, for pleasure, for obedience. Work with all your might as to the Lord. Work is spiritual and for life. Repentance is also our spiritual necessity.

Sunday August 26, 2007

Pastor Bill's Message Excerpts

Reference Galatians 5:13-26

How close can you get to the edge of sin? How close should you be? How far? The alter of your heart is that point in your life when you bow yourself, your will to God. The alter can be a physical alter where you bow yourself, your will to God. Repent to God through Jesus his son! Not through a preacher, a minister or priest! Jesus only! It is possible to go back to sin. We read a caution to not be entangled in sin! Sin behavior will keep us from the kingdom of heaven. I don't say this. I read this in Galatians 5:21

Sunday August 20, 2007

Pastor Bill's Message Excerpts

Reference Deuteronomy 31:11-12, 2Kings 22

The wall of faith holds back the flood that Satan would unleash upon us! Take this opportunity to repent, to pray in faith. Repent to God and have faith in him! You as a church have seen what his church can do in this world.

Sunday August 12, 2007

Pastor Bill's Message Excerpts

Reference 2 Kings 22:, Deuteronomy 31:11-13, Romans 10:17

You can do the best you can do and live your best to live righteously. Then take this book and find your are missing something. God is the only one that can fill our need. God gives us knowledge and freedom in his word.

Sunday August 5, 2007

Pastor Bill's Message Excerpts

Reference 1Peter 5:5-10, Proverbs 34:3, James 1:14

Humble yourselves! Respect your elders! If there are gray areas in your lives go back to Gods word for clarity. It's amazing what God will do with your life! We want to be somebody with our positions at our jobs. We get puffed up with our position, money, positions in society. Humble yourselves. Are people in your way? Your lane? Your road to somewhere? We stumble but the word of God is preached here! To God be the glory! Amen? Know what sin will entice you and keep away! Pride is a destroyer! Keep me from evil Lord.

Sunday July 29, 2007

Pastor Bill's Message Excerpts

Reference 1 Corinthians, Romans 12:

As a Christian what is required of you? Repent? Living for Him? How? What do we do in this life? Changing your mind doesn't save you! Your mind is changed because you are changed yes saved by the grace of Jesus! Get the best for yourself by doing things God's way! God's direction is a command, a standard to live by. We have a duty to God, ourselves and the brethren. God's grace is beautiful and he is not mocked! Don't play church! Don't be a Christian in this building on Sunday! Live for him each week! Each day! Don't be conformed to this world. Don't be molded by it. Be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Repent!

Sunday July 22, 2007

Pastor Bill's Message Excerpts

Reference Galatians 1, Psalm 103:10 1Corinthians 19:24

Legalists can come in and pervert God's church! It doesn't mean it's a free for all with no order! We have the comfort and the truth that it is put away from us forever. Repent! Turn from the path of sin! A new direction! You're going to need endurance to carry on. Real men love Jesus! Run that all of you will be winners! In a foot race there is only 1 winner! Run that all may win!

Phillip Messer from North Judson delivered today's message.

Reference 2Corinthians, Ecclesiastes 12

We can be victorious in death being raised with Jesus! This body will dissolve and this is going to be a glorified body! How is it when we die and find victory over death? We are not always in the Spirit. There is temptation that causes us to stumble. The only hope in this world is Jesus! We have only tasted of what is to come. Greater things are coming! Live holy before the lord. Live for him! Just obey him.

Sunday July 8, 2007

Tim Webb from Wabash delivered today's message while Pastor Bill and Teresa were on vacation.

Reference Ecclesiastes 9:1-4, Matthew 28:19, Acts 1:8, 1 John 5:7, Ephesians 1:18

I have freedom in heaven because of Jesus! There is power in living and serving God today! With God all things are possible! There is Power in the blood! Zeal, Knowledge which is better? It is profitable to have zeal! Know that knowledge is coming from God. The Holy Spirit! What are souls without his grace? Like a dead branch! Barren! I'm alive and have life in Jesus! The Father plans, the Son executes and the Spirit applies the the plan, the blood, to our lives!

Sunday July 1, 2007

Pastor Bill's Message Excerpts

Reference Hebrews 11:8-9, Genesis 12

Seek all things in that God has laid down it's foundation! Blessed is the nation whose God is lord. One nation under God! We are called upon to receive Jesus as our only means to heaven. Think of the courage to begin a new nation to set out as Abram or the pilgrims which came to this country. God says I will make of  thee a great nation. Eternal life has an alternative of eternal separation from God or an eternal death. The greatest gift to us was Jesus and through him eternal life.

Sunday June 24, 2007

Today our church joined two other churches in town for our annual community worship service at the fire house. There was about 100 souls in attendance at Pastors Bill Sheets, David Duke of the UMC and Charles Lane of the First Baptist Church each preached a portion of scripture from the book of Acts.

Sunday June 17, 2007

Pastor Bill's Message Excerpts

Reference 1Kings 18

All of Israel began to follow so many idols it was difficult to tell if they were God's people. Forsaking God to follow Baalim (plural) and the prophets of Baal. Follow Baal, the god of this world or follow the one true Almighty God. Baal had many prophets and this world still has many prophets! Choose who you are going to serve! Turn your heart back to God!

Sunday June 10, 2007

Pastor Bill's Message Excerpts

Reference Matthew 6:, Hebrews 12:, 1Tim 4:8

If you don't know God, Jesus as Lord, all of this is foolishness! Scripture, this assembly! We have faith! Hope! Things unseen! A trust in God which is elementary. We do many things religiously as we go to work, school, go to church. Everyone is religious. Our relationship with Jesus, even our faith belongs to him. He first loved us! Seek him first and his righteousness and all these things will come to you! Your needs will be met.

Sunday June 3, 2007

Pastor Bill's Message Excerpts

Reference Ecclesiastes 9:10, 2Timothy 2:15, Matthew 7:7

Don't put it off! Don't put things off! Whatever it is there is no knowledge learned in the grave. Take Jesus with your next chapter of life. As graduates move on to new homes, colleges and careers. Take Jesus with you. Take him with you in each chapter of life. We have 2 ears and 1 mouth given by God. Our ears are open all the time. Listen. Eventually we all learn the value is in what we give, not what we are given in this life. You can do all things through Christ!

Sunday May 27, 2007

Today Alicia McGiffin publicly professed Christ and his example through baptism. Praise God for this testimony and keep her in your daily prayer.

Pastor Bill's Message Excerpts

Reference Joshua 14:6, Numbers 14:23

God is all powerful and in charge! So far away? No. God is with us!  God's word is truth! It is valuable! What is your treasure? What are you storing up in heaven? On Earth? The prayer of a righteous man availeth much! Not my righteousness but the righteousness that is Jesus in me! In you! Will you follow him a little of the way and press on by yourself? Walk continually with him.

Sunday May 20, 2007

Pastor Bill's Message Excerpts

Reference Matthew 3:8, 18:3, Romans 8:, Hebrews 10:14, John 17;

Our doctrine of Repentance is a change of mind a conviction by the Holy Spirit. Regeneration occurs with this change of mind. Your conversion is a conversion from a state of sin to one of being saved. Yes! Born Again! Jesus instructed that you must be born again to see the kingdom of heaven! You are a part of the family then. Even joint heirs with Jesus! Only you know your relationship with Jesus. Are you lost? Converted? Convicted? Make the decision to trust in Jesus and be Converted! Be Saved! Be Born Again!

Sunday May 13, 2007

Pastor Bill's Message Excerpts

Reference Galatians 6, 1Thessalonians 5:12

A Widow of a Preacher she became a provider. She went to the man of God and placed her trust in God and had plenty when she thought she had nothing.  Under our New Covenant we go to Jesus as mediator to God! Death and debts concern us in this world so take all these cares to God. Take care of your children and focus on God! Faith is passed down generation to generation. So is sin! Sinful behaviors! Break the heritage of sin! Pass the heritage of faith! Covetousness begins to drive people pushing God aside. God can use what you have! He can remind us what we have! Don't think small when it comes to God! Our God has boundless resources! He is the source!

Sunday May 6, 2007

The Burn's Racing Team told us of the outreach into the racing team we are sponsoring. Their lives and behaviors are always scrutinized by fellow teams and is a great opportunity to witness to others. Yes we have our name across the back of the car! There is a chaplain's service at the Indianapolis track on Sundays with about 300 people. Most are not Christians and are hearing the gospel message of Jesus.

Mel Kenyon, an 8 time competitor in the Indianapolis 500 driver and fellow believer will be speaking next Sunday on Mother's Day at the track. Mel was born in Illinois and raised in Davenport, IA, but has long been a resident of Lebanon, Indiana. Thanks to our team Todd, Tina, Trenton, Tyler and Chris.

Pastor Bill's Message Excerpts

Reference Galatians 6, 1Thessalonians 5:12

Our hope and trust is in a resurrected Jesus! Everyone has sinned! Even in this room! Some have not received Jesus as Redeemer and must do this to see heaven one day. I don't say that on my own, It comes from the word of God. Just receive Jesus today! This isn't a church thing! It's a body of Christ thing! Caring enough about the lost but also the person which is falling away. They don't need a judge they need encouragement from you. You can try to be a good Christian for awhile and you will find your trying doesn't work well. Simply trust Jesus greatly to be a great Christian! Your missionary field is where you are today! At work, at play, at church and whatever you are doing.

Sunday April 29, 2007 (Evening Service)

Pastor Bill's Message Excerpts

Reference1John 4:

We should know false teaching when we hear or read it! If I doesn't do it Jesus' way is there another way? No Way! You can prevent your focus from being taken from him! Be knowledgeable! Read your Bible! Know God's Word! Go with the word of him that created you and gave you breath. Greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world. Be in prayer when reading your bible. Mistakes and misteachings can and do happen. You must be ready to recognize a mistake or false teaching to focus on the truth accurately. All love and sharing is for nothing if the truth of Jesus is never received in your life! Not receiving Jesus is condemnation! You must be saved by faith in Jesus to see the Kingdom Of Heaven and escape the judgment of Hell!

Sunday April 22, 2007

Pastor Bill's Message Excerpts

Reference James 1:22, 2Corinthians 5:17, Romans 6:4, John 7:39

Do we live our profession? We have instruction from the word of God! Living in sin is bondage! You are locked into it. The word says you are a new creature in Christ. You absolutely are changed! Our old self dies to sin. We don't need to be good Christians we just need to trust Jesus! Following his example the Holy Spirit is right there so you're never alone.

Sunday April 15, 2007

Message Excerpts of Steve Standridges.

Visiting with his wife Stephanie and children Simeon and Elisa. The Standridges reside in Bolanzo, Italy.

Reference John 14:6, 1 John 5:1, Luke 11

I am the way the truth and the life. Jesus said he is the life not just a life. Our purpose is found in life with Christ. Anything outside of life with Christ is wasted time!. God's word can be read and studied daily by anyone. Italy like many places in the U.S. are in opposition to the gospel of Christ. Filling a void with material things which only Jesus can fill! What makes you sad? What brings you joy? Is it when a soul comes to Christ? You have not because you ask not. How much do we suffer for the cause of Christ? We must spend time with him each day to know him.

Sunday April 8, 2007

Pastor Bill's Message Excerpts

Reference Luke 24:13

The greatest day in history! The resurrection and ascension  of Jesus! He is preparing a place for you and for me! He is the Christ that walks with us each day! In verse 32 something burned within them. Something burns within us today! That is why we are here in this building today on resurrection Sunday! Conviction is a great thing. This is the burning inside. If the word of God disagrees with me; I am wrong. The word is the truth and is unchangeable! The truth will always be right.

Sunday April 1, 2007

Our announcement reader Scott was also the song leader today. Thanks Brother for helping whenever necessary.

Sunday March 25, 2007

Pastor Bill's Message Excerpts

Reference Acts 2:, John 16:, Matthew:, 1John 3:24

A saved person is a new person! A Christian has a relationship with Jesus! There is no mold for Christian behavior where you need to behave a certain way except the mold or example of Jesus! Everyone is born into sin and the realization of this is Conviction. Repentance is necessary and is a turning around or away from sin. Put your trust in Jesus. Rely upon Him! This Salvation is a free gift of God! I know I'm saved! I follow the example of Jesus! Yield yourself, your body a living sacrifice to God.

Sunday March 18, 2007

Pastor Bill's Message Excerpts

Reference 1 Corinthians 9:

We never want to hinder the gospel of Christ. When scripture instructs us not to be a hindrance it is because sometimes we are! We can be a hindrance in our language and example of our lives. Do we live by our feelings or by the scripture teachings? We should not live by how we feel but by these teachings!

Sunday March 11, 2007

Pastor Bill's Message Excerpts

Reference Matthew 5:13

You are the salt of the Earth! Are you tired? Headache? Have concerns? When you feed us Lord we thank you for taking care of these things and will give you all the glory. Salt does not actually lose it's flavor. It loses it's flavor when it's mixed with dirt! Contaminants! Sin!

Factory work, any work, gives an opportunity to be flavorful and a light in this dark world.

Sunday March 4, 2007

Today the church recognized the Winters' 22nd wedding anniversary this month by singing "Happy Anniversary."

The Messer Family sang several songs today.

Here's three Song1  Song2  Song3 Audio Sermons / All Audio

Guest Speaker Phillip Messer Sermon Excerpts

Reference Psalm 127, Jeremiah 31:1, Isaiah, Romans 15

If the Lord heals; I'll be healed! If the Lord saves me; I'll be saved absolutely! Our Christian lives are generational. This is the generation to know God! Train up your child in the way he should go! If you are offended when told you are in sin. Good! When we are in sin we are blind to it! You can't even see the kingdom of God when in sin! Simple obedience is what he wants. Where is our hope? How often do you consider yourself instead of our neighbor?

Sunday February 25, 2007

Pastor Bill's Message Excerpts

Reference Psalm 9

Surrender all to God! Lift your hands to Him! Reach for Him! Ask Him for wisdom! Reach and pray for your enemy! The world's system does not work! God's does! There is only one way to heaven through Jesus! God said so! Go to Jesus for your refuge! Your protection is in Him! Give Him the glory! All good things come from God! The truth is a beautiful thing! Rejoice in His salvation!

Sunday February 18, 2007

Pastor Bill's Message Excerpts

Reference 1 John 2:24, John 3, John 10:10

No matter your age you have an eternal destiny. You are born into the Kingdom of God. Not naturally born but by his word and sacrifice. You cannot see the Kingdom of God unless you are born of water and of the Spirit. This is a family of love! Know who you are. Know who God is. Repent. Turn away from sin! Live for him so you will not be ashamed. Do not return to sin for clean living. Are we going to be perfect? No. We should live for him so we won't be ashamed. All sin is sin! Live confidently in Christ! Recognize evil and stay away from it! Are you willing to surrender this particular area of your life?

Sunday February 11, 2007

Pastor Bill's Message Excerpts

Reference Judges 4 and 5

Many times Israel fell away into captivity. Deborah rose to meet the need to be judge of all Israel. Getting comfort, Getting  security? This prosperity can cause us to stumble and fall. When we call out to God he will send a messenger, a deliverer. He sent Jesus! Call out to Jesus! Deborah was a humble servant with great wisdom. A wick or candle maker in the temple and wife of Lapidoth. To what are you devoted? Will you be ready to be used by God? Scripture never said Deborah left the humble service of wick maker in the temple but was used by God in a great way.

Sunday February 4, 2007

Today the church recognized the wedding anniversaries this month of the Sasser's 24th and Slone's 26th by singing "Happy Anniversary."

Pastor Bill's Message Excerpts
Reference 1 Timothy 4:1-9, 1 John 4:1

Christianity and Islam do not worship the same God! Don't believe that lie! It is being told that God and Allah are the same just different names. Do not believe that lie! What is on your mind now? Dinner? The Super bowl? The Cold? Satan would have you distracted! Keep you mind on repentance! On Jesus! Another lie being told is that homosexuality is ok. It was a sin from the beginning and it is still a sin today! Don't believe the lies because as they are told over and over they become believable! If everyone else is sinning does it make it ok? Hearts are hardened when people make commands and laws contrary to God. If it's wrong it is sin! Don't believe the lies!

Sunday January 28, 2007

Pastor Bill's Message Excerpts

There is a created order. Man was created in the image of God. Woman was taken from man. Equal in creation to serve God. Who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above rubies. There should not be a struggle of equality but all things by God. In God's order men and women without Christ are dead. There is life and liberty in Christ.

Teach your children the words, commandments and precepts of the Bible! In the house! Walking! All the time! We must care for and correct our children to keep them from foolishness! Train them! Teach them the truth! Chasten thy son while there is still hope! While they are young teach them the words of God!

Husbands rejoice with your wives! Rejoice with each other! Stick with each other! Leave repented sin behind you! Men love your wives as Christ loved the church! He was willing to die for the church! He spared nothing! She should be with no doubt where you love is directed! We are created in the image and likeness of God.

Sunday January 7, 2007     Happy New Year!

Pastor Bill's Message Excerpts
Reference Exodus 20, 1Corinthians 2, Mark 16:2, Colossians 2

Sunday is our day of rest and worship! Christ completed everything required for salvation! Sunday mornings should be a time of fellowship with God! Sometimes we may not feel like going to church. We may feel more like it when we consider it a time of fellowship with God. This day was created for man. Man was not created for the day. The last supper was on Sunday as was Jesus' resurrection. John received the vision at Patmos on Sunday and we are instructed to bring an offering on Sunday.
